1 2 6 (Part 2)
"The words of the wicked are, "Lie in wait for blood," But the mouth of the upright will deliver them."
Psalms 12:6 (NKJ)
"The words of the Lord are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times."
The 2 commonalities between the 2 verses above is the mouth - the mouth of the upright and the words of the Lord. There is only 1 that is upright and righteous among us - our Lord Jesus. And His words are like silver tried in a furnace of earth - delivering us.
Psalms 126 (AMP)
1 WHEN THE Lord brought back the captives [who returned] to Zion, we were like those who dream [it seemed so unreal].
2 Then were our mouths filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them.
3 The Lord has done great things for us! We are glad!
4 Turn to freedom our captivity and restore our fortunes, O Lord, as the streams in the South (the Negeb) [are restored by the torrents].
5 They who sow in tears shall reap in joy and singing.
6 He who goes forth bearing seed and weeping [at needing his precious supply of grain for sowing] shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
In the above Psalms, the captives of Babylon finally returned to Zion. And the people rejoiced and proclaimed His goodness to all the nations. Verse 4 speaks of those who still remained in Babylon. Their cry to the Lord to free them and restore their fortunes just as the streams in the South are restored by the torrents. It speaks of a desert place in the South flooded with waters once again. This is a rather prophetic statement just as Pastor has spoken about the tidal waves of blessings over His people. The big wet cloth hanging over our heads and raining down water all over the congregation during Friday's Bible Study (Jan 14, 2005). And we only recently had South Asia flooded by the torrents literally by the devil because He has already seen verse 4 happening to those who were still in captives. That it will be a year of restoration; of great blessings; of rejoicing.
This is a year that if only ONE single precious seed is sown, the Lord promises a harvest that is exceedingly, abundantly above all you can ask or think of. What is this seed?
Matthew 13:17 (NKJ)
He answered and said to them: "He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.
Luke 8:11
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Verse 5 and 6 speaks of the man who had nothing left but that single remaining seed. He went forth bearing the seed weeping. But the Lord says, I am the One who sows the good seed for you and in you. I plant My words in your heart. And now it is time for the harvest. Weep no more. Rejoice. Gather your sheaves! Be ready to receive! Be in your receiving mode!
Psalms 105
1 O GIVE thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His doings among the peoples!
2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them.
3 Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord [as their indispensable necessity].
4 Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore.
5 [Earnestly] remember the marvelous deeds that He has done, His miracles and wonders, the judgments and sentences which He pronounced [upon His enemies, as in Egypt].
Psalms 105 speaks of the year 2005. If you look all the above quoted verses - it all speaks of the mouth - the Lord who proclaims His righteousness and deliverance over us and we who proclaim His goodness and sing praises to Him evermore. The Lord reminds us in Psalms 105 that we have to not only just seek Him, we CRAVE for Him till He becomes our one and only necessity. Not our plans and wants and needs. Just Him.
